Hello from United Way of the Ozarks!
February 26, 2008
Here at United Way of the Ozarks, we are winding down from the 2008 campaign and gearing up for another busy year.
- The Allocations process is in full swing for our member agencies.
- We’re setting the stage for “Know Your Mamas: Female Leaders in Philanthropy (FLIP) Celebrate Five Years of Making a Difference,” a symposium celebrating women who make an impact on society–scheduled for June 5!
- Volunteerism is in high gear as over 500 people have already signed up for our 15th annual United Way Day of Caring, scheduled for August 14!
- New plans are in the works to revitalize the campaign for our 14 county region.
- President/CEO Jennifer Kennally will officially take on this new role May 19.
We’d love for you to check in on us and see what’s going on, subscribe to our monthly e-newsletter, see new pictures and volunteer opportunities or to watch for new ways of getting involved. It’s an exciting time at United Way!
